Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Current Wisconsin Engineer credential or ability to obtain within 2 years.
• 2–10 years experience in Civil Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, StormCAD, HydroCAD, WinSLAMM.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office O365, Adobe Acrobat, Blue Beam.

Responsibilities

• Discuss requirements with the client and other professionals.
• Analyze survey, mapping and materials-testing data with computer modeling software.
• Draw up plans, using CAD packages, primarily Civil 3D.
• Consider construction costs, regulations and environmental risks in planning.
• Make judgments on workability, costs and timelines.
• Assess environmental risks and impacts of projects.
• Prepare bid documents for clients.
• Manage and monitor progress during each phase of a project.
• Ensure sites meet legal guidelines and safety requirements.
• Present findings to the public on bid proposals or environmental statements.
• Manage repair, maintenance, and replacement of infrastructure.
• Set up modeling files and create design drawings.
