Job summary

Tiello has partnered with a well-established engineering firm in the St. Louis area to hire a Professional Civil Engineer (Land Development). You will design and oversee site development from planning through construction support in a collaborative, team-first environment.

This hybrid role covers land development, transportation, municipal and commercial projects with a strong project worklog, a one-day remote week, and a culture focused on work-life balance and steady professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license is required.
• Experience in civil engineering, land development, municipal, transportation, or site design projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater design.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal engineering standards and permitting processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Self-motivated team player with a desire to learn, grow, and take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare plans for site development, grading, drainage, utility, and roadway projects.
• Collaborate with clients, municipalities, and internal teams throughout all phases of project delivery.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and permit submittals.
• Coordinate with project managers to deliver high-quality projects on schedule and within budget.
• Provide construction administration and technical support as projects move into the field.
• Build strong client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the firm.
