Legacy Engineering, P.C. is a small civil engineering firm based in Fredericksburg, VA. This role supports land development projects, site design, and infrastructure planning in a hybrid office setting, requiring candidates to reside in or relocate to the Fredericksburg area.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of design/management experience, familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D and hydrology tools, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to project delivery.

Qualifications

• Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Motivated and dedicated personality – willingness to learn and grow.
• Experience with design and management of land development projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with industry standards and requirements.

Responsabilités

• Create CAD drawings and details for site, subdivision, and infrastructure plans.
• Contribute to the preparation of full sets of construction plans.
• Site layout and utility design including water, sanitary, and storm sewer.
• Horizontal and vertical roadway design.
• Prepare erosion and sediment control plans.
• Generate SWM/BMP facilities hydrologic computations.
• Site visits to inspect and document conditions and/or construction progress.
