Job summary

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited in Doylestown, PA is seeking a Civil Engineer focused on land development. The role involves designing private subdivisions and coordinating with project managers on multiple projects across residential, retail and commercial sectors.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience, strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills, and the ability to review zoning and stormwater requirements.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of progressive private subdivision and land development design experience.
• Experience preparing site plans, grading plans, utility plans or roadway plans.
• Fundamental understanding of stormwater management and erosion & sediment control design.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sketch plans, site plans, grading plans, utility plans and roadway plans.
• Support layout and design development through the project lifecycle and assist with subdivision and land development plan packages.
• Prepare technical drawings, reports and submissions; support documentation and submission packages.
• Review zoning ordinances, subdivision and land development regulations, stormwater management requirements and other municipal and agency requirements that affect the design.
• Support stormwater management design, stormwater calculations and erosion and sediment control design.
• Meet regularly with Project Managers, coordinate goals, schedules and technical requirements, and provide updates on tasks.
