Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. You will work in the Civil/Land Development Department on master planning, design, permitting, and construction support for diverse site development projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program, 11–15 years of relevant experience, SWM/ESC design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D / AutoCAD /

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
  • 11-15 years of relevant experience in civil/site land development engineering.
  • Experience with planning, design, permitting, and construction support of residential, commercial, institutional, or industrial development projects.
  • Experience working on projects within the Mid‑Atlantic region preferred.
  • SWM and ESC design and permitting experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
  • PE license or ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire.

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in our Baltimore, MD office. The Civil/Land Development Department at WRA provides master planning, investigation, design, permitting/approval and construction phase engineering services for a large variety of site development and improvement projects, including campus/facility settings, planned communities, urban revitalization, and parks and public spaces. Responsibilities
  • Support and lead the planning, design, and development of site and land development projects.

  • Stormwater Management (SWM) and Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC) design and permitting experience
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative design team.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire.

The expected compensation range for this position is $100,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
