Thomas & Hutton is seeking a civil engineer to help design land‑development projects across the Southeast. You will work with mentors, apply Civil 3D and AutoCAD, and contribute to meaningful projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s in civil engineering, 4+ years of land‑development design experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D. EIT or PE is preferred or obtainable within a year. On‑site schedule with strong benefits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 4+ years of experience designing land‑development projects using Civil 3D.
• EIT or PE registration preferred (or ability to obtain PE within one year).
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• A client‑service mindset, strong initiative, and collaborative approach.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare site‑development construction drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Design water, sewer, and storm‑drainage infrastructure using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Develop engineering design considerations and support permitting efforts for land‑development projects.
• Coordinate regularly with clients, project managers, and internal discipline teams.
• Produce and refine models in Civil 3D, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to project standards.
• Manage tasks to meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
