Job summary

Sandi Crowther Recruitment is seeking a Civil Engineer for an on-site role in Wisconsin to manage and develop civil infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with developers, engineers and contractors, oversee road, water and sewer elements, and help maintain asset systems across current and future developments.

The candidate should bring 3+ years’ experience in land development or civil infrastructure, strong technical problem-solving and excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Civil Engineering Technology.
• 3+ years relevant experience.
• Experience in land development, civil infrastructure, or consulting engineering.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the performance and maintenance of civil infrastructure.
• Coordinating infrastructure and utility connections for new developments.
• Monitoring construction activities and ensuring existing infrastructure and underground services are protected.
• Liaising with developers, consulting engineers, contractors and specialist service providers.

• Assisting with infrastructure budgets, planning and reporting.

Job description

The Role You will be involved in the management, performance and ongoing development of key infrastructure, including roads, stormwater, water, sewer, bulk services and underground services , while coordinating with specialist providers responsible for electrical, fibre and telecommunications infrastructure.

Responsibilities will include:

What Were Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Civil Engineering Technology
• 3+ years relevant experience
• Experience within land development, civil infrastructure, consulting engineering or civil construction
• Practical exposure to several of the following: roads, bulk earthworks, stormwater, sewer, water reticulation, underground services and bulk infrastructure
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and site execution
• Experience coordinating contractors, consultants and/or multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong technical problem-solving ability
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• A practical, proactive approach and willingness to work on site
• Valid drivers licence
• Exposure to Civil 3D, contract administration, project budgets, infrastructure maintenance and multidisciplinary engineering projects would be advantageous.
