Job summary

TYG, a growing civil engineering consulting firm, seeks Civil Engineers across multiple levels to join our Kansas City office. Positions emphasize land development, site design, grading, utilities, and stormwater management with increasing project ownership across private and municipal work.

We welcome mid-level to senior engineers who bring strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, practical grading/utility experience, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• EIT preferred; PE required for senior-level roles or ability to obtain.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of site grading, utility layout, and stormwater design.
• Team-oriented with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Support design and coordination for site development projects including grading, utilities, and stormwater systems
• Prepare construction documents, stormwater calculations, and permit submittals
• Collaborate with clients, attend municipal meetings, and assist in project approvals
• Work closely with Project Managers and subconsultants to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
