Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Civil Engineer in Los Angeles, CA, to support K-12 educational facilities. You’ll engage in planning, design, and construction of district projects with strong emphasis on site development, grading, utilities, and infrastructure.

The role requires a California PE license, eight years of civil design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office; salary ranges reflect experience and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• CA Professional Engineer license is required.
• Eight years of full-time civil design experience on commercial/public projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Define and review project scope and schedule for civil designs.
• Provide technical direction to architects and engineers on site development.
• Coordinate with City of Los Angeles and consultants for permits and approvals.
• Develop and maintain civil engineering standards and specifications.
• Advise on field conditions and resolve civil engineering issues during construction.
