Job summary

Triangle DeCon Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) with planning, design and construction of district facilities and site improvements.

The role requires reviewing civil plans, providing technical direction, and ensuring compliance with codes. Candidates must have 8+ years of civil design experience and a valid California PE license in Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight (8) years' full-time paid professional experience in civil design on commercial or public agency projects.
• Experience in AutoCAD software design.
• Proficiency in office computer software (Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Review civil engineering plans for compliance with District standards.
• Provide technical direction to consulting engineers and architects.
• Coordinate with City permits and off-site improvements.
• Assist Real Estate Department on property-related civil matters.
• Develop civil engineering standards and guidelines to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
