Job summary

Chastain & Associates LLC is seeking a Civil Engineer to work on infrastructure and land development projects from concept through construction. You will prepare designs, perform calculations, and assist with planning and permitting while coordinating with clients, teams, and regulatory agencies from our Decatur, IL office.

The role emphasizes stormwater management, roadway and utility design, and thorough site grading analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field; EIT preferred, PE licensure a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• On-site Decatur, IL with ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs and plans.
