Job summary

Matheson Tri-Gas is seeking a Civil Engineer to analyze surveys, develop site grading and drainage plans, oversee SWPPP implementation, and ensure drawings align with field control points.

The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors and officials, preparing cost estimates, schedules, and BOMs, and supporting project managers with technical inspections and compliance duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with preference to civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Professional Engineer license.
• 1-3 years Project or civil engineering experience.
• Management of small projects 4-6 years and 5+ years in industrial construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bid packages, quotes, and purchase orders.
• Assist in project schedules, Gantt charts and calendars.
• Prepare BOM for projects under PM guidance.
• Assist in developing project cost estimates.
• Conduct technical inspections of project components.
• Field verify P&IDs and perform redlining as needed.
• Ensure work aligns with SHE requirements and safety practices.
• Liaise with architects, contractors and officials to resolve design issues.
