Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to lead survey coordination, site grading and drainage planning in Irving, TX. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with architects, contractors and project managers.
You will develop BOMs, assist with cost estimates, review P&IDs, and ensure drawings align with field control points. A PE license and 1–6 years of relevant experience are preferred.
We have an opening for an highly-skilled and experiencedCivil Engineer. Duties include: Analyzesurvey reports, maps, plans ,and other relevant information for projectplanning
Oversee survey operations for construction, develop sitegrading and drainage plans, Oversee SWPPP implementation and maintenance inaccordance with regulations.
Check and reconcile drawings with field survey controlpoints, ensure elevations, rebar placement, top of concrete, foundationlocation matches the drawings before concrete is ordered,
Submitting permit applications for projects with multipleregulations to appropriate local, state and federal agencies
Budget construction cost and risk analysis for projects
Site investigations: Conduct field visits and analyze surveydata, soil reports, and environmental constraints to determine projectfeasibility
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with architects,contractors, government officials, and project managers to resolve designmodifications and project issues
Project Support: Willsupport Project Managers and other engineers in project activities including,but not limited to the following.
Will support activities and projects tomaintain efficient operation and continued improvement of the engineeringdepartment. These include, but notlimited to the following.
Will support technical and construction activities and necessary forproject completion. These activitiesinclude, but not limited to the following.
Comprehensive knowledge of basic engineering principles,construction, and project management.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in CivilEngineering with preference to civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines
Professional Engineer license
1-3 years Project or civil engineering experience. Management of small projects
4-6 years 5+ years of experience in industrial construction projects
Experience in the industrial andspecialty gas industry desired.
