Job summary

Wiley|Wilson in Richmond, VA is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training to gain hands-on experience on site design and stormwater projects for Local, Federal, and State Government clients. You will work under licensed PEs to build the technical foundation needed for PE licensure.

You will prepare calculations, reports, and drawings; assist with site design and stormwater management; participate in field investigations; and perform research related to project design while collaborating with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
FE Exam passed by start date.
Civil 3D experience preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a solid work ethic and interpersonal/communication abilities.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and be able to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Prepare calculations, reports, and design drawings; assist with site design and stormwater management.
Assist with quantity take-offs and cost estimates; collaborate with engineers and other design professionals across multiple disciplines.
Participate in field investigations and research related to project design.
Contribute to real projects from day one and grow toward Professional Engineer licensure.
