Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a Civil Engineer in Training to contribute to high-impact projects in Idaho. You will prepare drawings and contract documents, coordinate with clients and regulators, and help manage budgets and schedules for transportation projects.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in Civil Engineering, PE registration within six months, and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak. Opportunities include growth and a sign-on bonus program.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Idaho or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Civil Engineering experience preferred.
• Experience designing transportation facilities for State DOTs & local jurisdictions.
• Experience with ITD procedures and requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak design software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies for permitting compliance.
• Prepare budgets and schedules for projects.
• Support clients with services during bidding, contracting, and construction.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and quality control.
