Job summary

Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc. (AE2S) invites entry-level engineers to join our Grand Forks team as an Engineer in Training (EIT).

You’ll work on real projects across water treatment, wastewater, water resources, and rural water, gaining hands-on experience from planning through construction while receiving mentorship from seasoned professionals. You’ll contribute to plans, specifications, and cost estimates, learn design solutions, and participate in technical reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Fundamentals in Engineering certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with the development, and preparation of plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
• Assist project managers in the design and solution of client projects.
• Perform construction observation and administration on water related projects.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, memorandums, and presentations.
• Work with Contractors to ensure the project document requirements, process, schedule, and related contractual obligations are understood by Contractors performing work for Owner.
