Civil Engineer in Training (EIT)

We are currently seeking a full-time, exempt Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) in the Fort Worth office. As a Civil EIT, you will work on civil projects for municipal governments and private developments. The ideal candidate will work closely with Designers and Professional Engineers to create civil drawings under the direction of Project Managers as you learn skills to become one yourself.
In this role, you can expect to perform the following tasks. This is not an exhaustive list:
Required Education & Experience:
Physical Demands: This position is primarily sedentary with long periods of sitting, but occasional walking and lifting up to 25 lbs may occur. Occasionally bending, squatting, and reaching overhead may also occur. Extensive computer usage is required daily.
Position Type and Schedule: This is a full-time, exempt position, with an expectation to work 40 hours per week. Overtime may be requested at times to meet project deadlines. The standard schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with flexible scheduling offered.
