Responsibilities

• Coordinate design work with survey data, geotechnical reports, and applicable jurisdictional requirements.
• Provide technical mentorship and review for junior engineering and design staff.
• Support quality control review of plan sets prior to agency submittal.
• Participate in client and agency coordination.

Position Summary

Monte Vista Consulting is seeking a Civil Engineer to fill a senior technical position on our design team, with responsibility for design and plan production along with the mentorship of junior engineering staff. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progressively assume project management responsibilities as a long-term component of the role.

Candidates are evaluated on demonstrated technical capability and knowledge. The firm places particular emphasis on proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, a working understanding of the civil site design process and project approval process. Once established, possible partial remote work available.
