Job summary

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Civil Engineer III to join our team. You will work with senior engineers on complex land development projects, lead technical efforts, and help manage client relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with Civil3D/AutoCAD. PE license is preferred. Remote/hybrid work may be possible, with a focus on delivering quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the land development industry.
• Experience with Civil3D and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with reading construction plans.
• Knowledge of HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD.
• Ability to multi-task on multiple projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction over other engineers and provide guidance to staff.
• Assist with marketing of the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and relationships.
• Review zoning regulations and interface with clients, agencies, and design teams on complex issues.
• Review plans, write reports and prepare specifications and submittals.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants and internal teams on project tasks.
• Perform field investigations, design calculations and coordination of design aspects.
