Job summary
RETTEW is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer III – Land Development to lead technical design on projects ranging from redevelopment sites to complex developments. You will own significant design portions, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to move projects from concept through permitting and construction.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Active PE license and ability to obtain licensure where required.
- Significant civil engineering experience with land development or civil-site design.
- Ability to independently lead civil design on land development projects.
- Experience with site grading, stormwater drainage, utilities, and permitting processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead civil engineering design and analysis for land development projects.
- Develop site layout, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and utilities.
- Own significant technical design portions from concept through permitting and construction.
- Prepare calculations, reports, plans, and permit applications.
- Coordinate with Civil 3D designers, surveyors, and other disciplines.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Communicate technical concepts in client and project meetings.
