Job summary

Edminster Hinshaw Russ & Assoc Inc in Houston, TX seeks an Engineer in training to work with a Project Manager, design land development projects including MUDs, paving, drainage, water distribution, and wastewater lines. You will develop plan sets from concept to agency acceptance under guidance.

Responsibilities include assisting with engineering design, coordinating schedules, communicating with survey teams and agencies, and contributing to design standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of experience in land development preferred.
• IT license required.
• AutoCAD experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering design under a Registered Professional Engineer.
• Coordinate project schedules and plan production from design through construction.
• Communicate with survey teams and permitting agencies.
• Develop in-house design standards.
• Create construction plan sets and cost estimates.
• Support QA/QC processes and project documentation.
