Job Summary

Responsibilities include: CERC civil construction oversight at Chesterfield along with diligence work oversight for other project construction projects.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

1. Obtain Dominion Energy Civil Engineering Qualifications.
2. Collaborate with application-specific engineering teams to understand different system functions and requirements.
3. Review and approve civil engineering plans developed by equipment vendors.
4. Thoroughly understand application requirements driven by design specifications, regulatory standards, and software/hardware needs, with assistance from the requirements lead engineer.
5. Report activity status and communicate effectively with all levels of owner/leadership.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

1. 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
2. Basic knowledge of engineering theories and principles.
3. Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing.
4. Proficiency with personal computer applications.
5. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
6. Ability to interpret codes, regulations, and practices.
7. Effective working independently or within a team environment.
