Zusammenfassung

RRC is seeking a Civil Engineer II - Water Resources in Round Rock, TX to apply hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for large utility-scale wind and solar projects. You will develop hydraulic design, stormwater infrastructure, and support permitting and reports.

You will collaborate with engineers and CAD designers to deliver integrated drainage solutions, perform site visits, and support project documentation. A PE path or current PE is required within 6 months.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Water Resources or Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• EIT and ability to obtain PE within 6 months from hire, or current PE.
• 2–4 years of drainage design and hydrologic/hydraulic modelling experience.
• Proficient in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, HY-8, and related tools.
• Experience with 2D modeling (FLO2D) and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform large, complex hydrologic and hydraulic modelling for wind/solar projects.
• Design and analyze stormwater drainage systems including culverts and detentions.
• Assess stormwater quality and erosion mitigation design.
• Conduct floodplain modelling.
• Prepare reports, exhibits and design documents.
• Collaborate with engineers and CAD designers to integrate drainage design.
• Assist in development of construction documents.
• Travel to job sites up to 5% for site visits and meetings.
