Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and supervises traffic data collection per FHWA TMG and Kansas TMS/H.
• Responsible for the traffic count data and troubleshooting data issues.
• Coordinate Federal Functional Classification reviews with Urban Areas, Counties, MPOs and FHWA.
• Provide technical assistance to the Traffic and Field Operations Unit and software maintenance.
• Review testing and evaluation of traffic data collection equipment.
• Support Bureau of Transportation Planning projects.
