Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Level II Civil Engineer to support the design and construction of new site infrastructure under supervision of a licensed engineer. The role advances toward a PE license and requires FE certification or plan to obtain one within a year, with 2–5 years in civil engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, or ability to pass within a year
• Ambition to obtain a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• 2–5 years of relevant civil engineering experience (internship or co-op is a plus).
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and review of construction documents (plans, specs, estimates).
• Contribute to design of site infrastructure (roads, drainage, utilities, retaining structures).
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and engineers to meet goals.
• Participate in project meetings and discuss design approaches.
