Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of professional civil engineering experience including one year of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited college or university, with major course work in Civil Engineering, or related field(s).
• Must pass a background check.
• Possession of a State of Oregon Certificate of Registration as a professional engineer, or ability to obtain by reciprocity within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform, manage, and direct the design and preparation of plans, specifications, schedules and cost estimates for public works projects.
• Direct and supervise professional and technical staff in survey, design, construction inspection and contract management of capital projects.
• Lead as project manager, manage budget, ensure compliance with City standards and policies.
