Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions seeks a Civil Engineer to provide design, construction, and maintenance support for NASA Johnson Space Center and White Sands Facility in Las Cruces, NM. The Civil Engineer will review project specifications, perform design calculations, and manage civil design processes across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Design Engineer or Requirements Engineer in civil engineering.
• MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level.
• Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screening as required on the contract.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain required clearance.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Design and planning work for new construction, renovation, and improvement projects.
• Prepare scopes of work, specifications, and cost estimates for future projects.
• Coordinate design with CADD, GIS, and other engineering support.
• Support field construction and respond to RFIs or change orders as needed.
• Present design documents and reports to customers and management.
