Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions seeks a Civil Engineer III to provide design, construction, and maintenance support for facilities at NASA Johnson Space Center and White Sands Test Facility in Las Cruces, NM. The engineer will review specifications, manage the civil design process, and coordinate scheduling and cost estimates.

Preference for water resources and environmental focus; requires a Bachelor’s in civil engineering, 8+ years of experience, and ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited university program.
• Minimum eight years’ experience as a Design Engineer or Requirements Engineer in civil engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required level clearance; U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design and planning for new construction, renovation, and improvement projects.
• Prepare scopes of work, specifications documents, and cost estimates for future projects.
• Coordinate RFIs and Change Orders; resolve field issues during construction.
• Engage in design reviews and provide CAD/GIS support during development.
• Present findings to customers and management; support safety programs.
