Qualifications

• Engineering degree from a school accredited by ABET.
• EIT certification required.
• 1 year engineering related experience.

Responsibilities

• Work under the general direction of a registered professional engineer.
• Perform design calculations.
• Utilize CAD to assist with design work.
• Prepare construction plans for Abandoned Mine Land (AML) reclamation projects.
• Obtain and/or assist staff in obtaining applicable permits.
• Conduct inspection oversight of AML project construction.
• Starting hourly pay of $34.53/hr with increases to $50.66/hr over 7.5 years; COLA may be applied; longevity pay after five years.
