Job summary

Pro2Serve is seeking a Civil Engineer I (Direct Hire) in Knoxville, TN. This entry-level role involves applying standard engineering tasks, learning codes, and supporting project tasks within budgets and schedules.

You will assist with analyses, reports, and coordination with clients to achieve project objectives. The position requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 0-2 years of experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD/MicroStation; an EIT is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 0-2 years of engineering experience.
• EIT license is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/MicroStation and Civil 3D is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine and some non-routine engineering designs and calculations.
• Work within prescribed budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients to establish project objectives and resolve design issues.
• Review internal and vendor drawings for accuracy.
• Prepare and coordinate engineering reports and calculations as required.
• Support site development and structural design tasks such as grading, stormwater, utilities, and structural elements.
