Larimer County Engineering seeks a Civil Engineer to join the Development Services Team. You will work on site design, traffic, stormwater, environment, and land development, coordinating with developers, consultants, and county staff.

The role may be filled at Civil Engineer I, II, or III level, depending on qualifications and experience. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential for this position.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Engineer-Intern preferred.
• Experience with land development review, permits, and county standards.
• Knowledge of stormwater, floodplain management, and environmental regulations.

Aufgaben

• Review land development proposals for compliance with county policies and standards.
• Evaluate plans, stormwater reports, traffic studies and other technical documents.
• Provide engineering comments and recommendations at public meetings and hearings.
• Coordinate with local agencies on master plans and development.
• Oversee construction phases to ensure conformance with plans and codes.
• Serve as technical resource for the public, consultants, and staff.
• Respond to inquiries from community members.
