Job summary

BAMM Staffing is seeking an Civil Engineer to join the Land Development Division. This role focuses on designing stormwater management systems and grading for both new and existing developments.

The position requires collaboration with a team of engineers to execute and manage projects from design through completion. The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering degree with a land development focus and 1–2 years of relevant experience in grading and drainage, plus familiarity with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a concentration in Land Development.
• 1–2 years of experience in grading and drainage design.
• Experience in a construction or engineering office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design of stormwater management systems for new construction and existing developments.
• Grade new construction and existing developments, including roads, retaining walls, swales and stormwater elements.
• Collaborate with engineers in the Land Development Division to prepare designs and manage project execution.

Job description

This position supports the mission of the Land Development Division by collaborating with a team of engineers in preparing engineering designs for various projects. They will be a part of the design team in the execution and management of projects.

• Design of stormwater management systems for new construction and existing developments.
• Grading of new construction and existing developments, including roads, retaining walls, swales and stormwater management elements.

• Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills and ability to use sound engineering judgement.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems to maintain project documents including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite (AutoCad a plus).

Education and Experience:
