The role requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience, valid Michigan driver's license, and relevant certifications or the ability to obtain them within six months.

• Must have a valid Michigan Driver's License.

Aufgaben

• Supervises and participates in the inspection of engineering construction projects; coordinates the work of contractors; ensures conformance with plans and specifications.
• Performs drafting using AutoCAD 3-D road/utility construction plans, field survey information and as-built drawings.
• Prepares estimates for labor and material costs; develops complete final design package for bidding.
• Creates daily reports and other required documentation.
• Performs project and permit inspection; conducts various permit reviews.
• Runs profiles and cross sections; procures field data necessary for preparation of plans; establishes line and grade for construction work.
• Performs related work as required.
