Jobot is seeking a dynamic Municipal Engineer to join our engineering team in Grand Rapids, MI. You will plan, design, and oversee infrastructure projects for municipal clients, including roads, water and sewer systems, and site development.
The role requires a civil engineering background, 3+ years of municipal project experience, proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, and strong communication and project-management skills. PE license preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and supervise municipal infrastructure projects.
- Create plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to meet timeline and budget.
- Conduct site inspections for compliance with specs and safety.
- Prepare reports and updates for municipal officials and the public.
- Assist with bid documents, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Stay current with industry regulations to ensure compliance.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
