Job summary
DLR Group is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Orlando team to design site development for mixed-use, commercial and municipal projects. You will collaborate with architects and clients within a multidisciplinary design process, using Autodesk Civil 3D and related tools.
The candidate will have a PE and 5+ years of civil experience, with strong communication, problem-solving and hydrologic design skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
- 5+ years of civil site development experience.
- Experience in an A/E and/or Civil Engineering design firm.
- Proficient with Autodesk Civil 3D and related design tools.
- Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients on integrated design.
- Design site development documents using Civil 3D across diverse projects.
- Perform civil calculations and code research.
- Prepare detailed reports, narratives and permitting applications.
- Review shop drawings and construction-related correspondence.
- Conduct site visits and project coordination.
