Samaritan's Purse in North Wilkesboro, NC is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the U.S. Rebuild team. You will oversee contractor work, ensure compliance with codes and budgets, and build licensure portfolios across states where we work.

Responsibilities include site inspections, collaboration with architects, contractors, and field staff, and using CAD tools to produce blueprints and models. Travel domestically 70-80 days/year.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 5–7 years of experience.
• Thorough knowledge of construction industry, standards, and processes.
• Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Strong knowledge of Civil engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints.
• Thorough knowledge of sustainable building practices.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee completion of work by contractors in the specific trade, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, timelines and budget.
• Build a portfolio of state licensures in states Samaritan's Purse frequently works.
• Ensure civil engineering projects adhere to legal guidelines and safety standards; collaborate with architects, contractors, leadership and field staff.
• Conduct site inspections to verify engineering standards and specifications.
• Utilize advanced engineering software to create blueprints/models and analyze survey data.
• Assist in project design and planning, including material estimates, scheduling and staffing.
