Job summary

Ascent Geomatics Solutions seeks a Civil Engineer to provide civil site design and engineering support for oil & gas and renewable energy projects, including grading, drainage, and erosion control deliverables. You will coordinate with Project Managers to ensure design accuracy, constructibility, and QA/QC alignment.

This client-facing role requires proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, grading and drainage calculations, and knowledge of permitting requirements across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or reciprocity within a defined timeframe.
• 1–5 years of professional practice with experience reviewing and sealing civil deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil site design deliverables including grading and drainage for energy and infrastructure projects.
• Produce and maintain design surfaces, alignments, profiles, and plan production in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare calculations and documentation to support design decisions and deliverables.
• Coordinate inputs with Project Manager and internal teams.
• Serve in a client-facing role, ensuring timely status updates and design clarity.
