Job summary

Ascent Geomatics Solutions seeks a Civil Engineer to design civil site layouts for energy projects, including grading, drainage, and erosion control deliverables. You will prepare design surfaces, plan sets, and supporting calculations, coordinating with project managers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, jurisdictional research, and signing/sealing deliverables as Engineer of Record with appropriate oversight. Remote work is acceptable with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and PE license (Colorado or eligible).
• 1–5 years licensed professional experience in civil engineering deliverables.
• Experience reviewing and signing civil engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil site design deliverables (grading, drainage, utility layout).
• Produce designs in AutoCAD Civil 3D with calculations and notes.
• Research jurisdictional requirements and coordinate with leadership.
• Sign/seal deliverables as Engineer of Record within scope.
