Atwell, LLC in Cary, NC is seeking a Civil Engineer EIT to support project teams by leading design aspects on development projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to prepare site plans, reports, and schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 2–4 years of experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, grading design, and technical writing. A collaborative environment with growth opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–4 years of civil engineering experience, leading design aspects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, grading design, technical writing, 3-D modeling, MS Office, and plan interpretation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent workload management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project teams and clients to prepare project documents and proposals.
• Draft, review, and finalize site plans, engineering reports, cost estimates, project schedules, and permit applications.
• Edit plans per client and agency feedback; research zoning requirements.
• Conduct site visits and analyze site survey data.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete assignments.
• Communicate with clients, municipalities, and agencies under the Project Manager.
• Update Project Manager on workload status.
