Job summary

Atwell in Denver is seeking a Civil Engineer EIT to join our growing team. You will support project teams by leading design aspects, addressing engineering issues, and collaborating with clients and project managers to deliver quality civil design.

You will apply civil engineering principles, utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D, and develop plans, reports, and cost estimates while ensuring adherence to deadlines and standards. This is a hands-on role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 2–4 years of civil engineering experience; experience leading design aspects preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, grading design, technical writing, 3-D modeling, MS Office, and plan interpretation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent workload management.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams on assignments, providing technical training and guidance.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to prepare project documents and proposals.
• Draft, review, and finalize project deliverables including site plans, engineering reports, cost estimates, schedules, and permit applications.
• Make edits based on client and agency feedback; research local/state zoning requirements.
• Conduct site visits and field assignments; analyze site survey data and development factors.
