Job summary

CSEngineering in Colorado Springs is seeking a Civil Engineer to support Department of Defense facilities planning, design, programming, construction, and sustainment. The ideal candidate will manage complex civil engineering programs from requirements development through construction and closeout.

The role requires a Bachelor's in civil engineering (ABET-accredited) and 5+ years of relevant experience, plus a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Experience supporting facility, infrastructure, utility, construction, renovation, or real-property projects.
• Knowledge of engineering standards, contracting processes, project documentation, site inspections, and cost-estimating principles.
• Structural engineering experience is desired but not required.
• Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80930.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and support execution of new construction, renovation, improvement, utility, and real-property projects.
• Prepare and review calculations, cost estimates, schedules, drawings, specifications, statements of work, and technical reports.
• Conduct site surveys, field investigations, design reviews, constructability assessments, and technical evaluations.
• Review contractor submittals, requests for information, design packages, and construction documentation.
• Support project programming, budgeting, cost and schedule management, facility-condition assessments, and infrastructure planning.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, planners, contracting personnel, tenants, and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and advance project objectives.
• Ensure work complies with applicable engineering standards, building codes, safety requirements, environmental requirements, and project specifications.
