Qualifications

  • ABET‑accredited engineering degree is required.
  • Engineering calculus and physics/chemistry coursework must be included.
  • Professional registration or licensure (EI/EIT or PE) is required.
  • FE examination or equivalent licensure steps must be completed.
  • At least 60 semester hours in physical, mathematical and engineering sciences.
  • Related curricula may be accepted with at least 1 year of professional engineering experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and project programming for civil engineering projects.
  • Provide construction management and site monitoring on a military installation.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and project Justifications.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and prepare working drawings as needed.

Education

ABET‑accredited engineering degree
Engineering degree with calculus coursework
Professional registration: EI/EIT/PE
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
60 semester hours in physical, mathematical and engineering sciences
Related curriculum with 1 year professional engineering experience
