Job summary

ERG, a research and consulting firm serving federal, state, and commercial clients, seeks a Civil Engineer with 2+ years of experience on facility/site projects. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, PE licensure, DoD/DoD criteria familiarity, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience and strong communication are essential.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen and meet GPA requirements if experience is under two years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience developing or reviewing drawings, specs, calculations, and reports.
• Familiarity with civil/site design including grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and site development.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (transcripts required) for candidates with less than 2 years of experience.
• Must hold or obtain a DoD Secret security clearance; US citizen.
• 2+ years of civil engineering experience in facility/site/infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting federal/military/DoD facility projects.
• Professional Engineer licensure; DoD criteria familiarity.

• Familiarity with civil/site design principles, including grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and site development
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (college transcripts required) for candidates with less than 2 years of professional experience
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
• Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
• 2+ years of civil engineering experience in facility, site, infrastructure, or building-related projects
• Experience supporting federal, military, or DoD facility projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
• Experience with federal design standards, UFCs, UFGS, or other DoD criteria
