Responsibilities

Prepares preliminary designs for planning and budgetary purposes and contract documents including plans and specifications.
Reviews civil design features of proposed works for Military, Civil Works, and IIS projects.
Utilizes CADD technology and civil design software packages.
Verifies the adequacy of design and construction documents including feasibility reports and drawings.
Participates in meetings with various stakeholders and coordinates with offices and non-federal sponsors.
Performs field inspections and provides expert assistance to Resident Offices.
Prepares scopes of work and government estimates for A-E design work.
Coordinates QA of A-E products and reviews.
