Job summary

You will determine design criteria, adapt methods to standards, and develop design memoranda for infrastructure such as roads, boat ramps, drainage, and public use areas. Responsibilities include preparing site plans and ensure utilities integration.

Qualifications

• Specialized Experience: applying engineering principles to solve routine problems under supervision.
• CAD drawings: create simple plans, cross-sections, and detail drawings for review.
• Data collection: organize and record engineering data from field surveys for design calculations.
• Education options: one year of graduate education in Civil Engineering or related field; or Superior Academic Achievement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Lead for in-house military and civil works projects, coordinating development of plans, specs, and design reports.
• Determine design criteria and adapt new methods to existing standards as Project Design Engineer.
• Develop design memoranda and specifications for infrastructure such as roads, boat ramps, drainage structures, and public use areas.
• Prepare site plans, preliminary and final designs, and specifications for infrastructure including roads, buildings, and utilities.
• Provide civil design support for HTRW projects, including site plans, drainage, and utilities.
