Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Data Center group, where you will help conceptualize site development for large data center facilities and industrial projects. You will manage schedule, technical quality, and due diligence evaluations while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet client expectations.

Your responsibilities include site feasibility, grading, drainage, infrastructure assessments, AHJ coordination, and leading permitting packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license preferred.
• 8+ years of engineering experience with site development and industrial projects.
• Experience conducting site feasibility studies and technical due diligence.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development for large data center facilities and industrial projects.
• Perform technical due diligence, grading, drainage, and earthwork analyses.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and AHJs; prepare permitting packages.
• Develop site selection criteria, risk assessments, and executive recommendations.
• Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and reports.
