Job summary

Sappi is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to manage capital projects within the industrial sector. You will be responsible for project management from planning to execution, ensuring all work is completed in a safe and cost-effective manner.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and have experience in structural design and project management. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is preferred, and experience in the pulp and paper industry is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university required.
• Strong commitment to performing work in a safe and effective manner.
• Civil engineering experience in an industrial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital projects through all phases including design, planning, and execution.
• Prepare hydro dam safety inspection reports for FERC submission.
• Provide technical engineering and project management oversight.
