What You’ll Do

As a Civil Engineer at IFS, you’ll play a key role in planning, designing, and delivering high-quality projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing site layouts, roads, grading, stormwater systems, and utilities using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Assisting or leading land development projects as a project manager
• Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary design teams
• Preparing site evaluations, schematic designs, and construction documents
• Managing project schedules, budgets, and proposals
• Mentoring junior staff and supporting business development initiatives
• Occasional travel for site visits and client meetings

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves :

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• 3–5 years of professional experience in civil site design or land development
• Site/civil experience on a variety of project sites including the ability to design site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc. from concept through completion
• Strong skills in AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience preferred
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented

Nice-to-Haves :

• EIT or FE certification
• Experience working with federal clients or large-scale public infrastructure projects
