Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects seeks a Civil Professional Engineer to design transportation infrastructure including streets, highways, and interstates in the Wichita area.

The role involves roadway design and modeling with Microstation/OpenRoads, leading project tasks, and coordinating with designers, PMs, and subconsultants on Missouri and Kansas projects, with opportunities for regional work and collaboration with clients, traffic design insights, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Kansas Professional Engineer licensed or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 4–7 years of experience designing streets and highways per regulations.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and technicians.
• Traffic engineering design experience is a plus.
• Experience with CAD using Microstation.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway design and modeling using Microstation/OpenRoads.
• Lead and manage project tasks on projects of various sizes.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers and other disciplines and subconsultants.
• Work on projects primarily in Missouri and Kansas with regional opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with peers, senior staff, and clients.
