Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects, is seeking a Civil PE for our Kansas City office with experience designing transportation infrastructure, including streets, highways, and interstates.

Responsibilities include roadway design and modeling with MicroStation/OpenRoads, leading project tasks, and collaborating with engineers, designers, PMs, and subconsultants on Missouri and Kansas projects. Local regulatory compliance and client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Kansas PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 4–7 years’ experience designing streets and highways.
• Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.
• Background in traffic engineering design is helpful.
• Experience in CADD utilizing MicroStation.

Wilson & Company’s Kansas City office is seeking a Civil PE with experience in the design of transportation infrastructure, notably streets, highways, and interstates.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Perform roadway design and modeling utilizing Microstation/OpenRoads.
• Lead and manage tasks on projects of various sizes
• Work with experienced designers and project managers as well as collaborating with other disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projects
• Primarily working on projects in Missouri and Kansas with opportunities to support regional projects,
• Efficiently communicate and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Kansas Professional Engineer licensed or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 4 - 7 years’ experience in the design of streets and highways in accordance with local, state and/or federal regulations.
• Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.
• A background in traffic engineering design can be helpful in this role
• Experience in CADD utilizing Microstation.

Annual Salary range: $79,000 - $135,000
